Unspun ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Hapawire. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use Unspun at unspun.report.
By using Unspun, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide directly
- Email address — collected when you sign in via magic link. Used solely for authentication and transactional communications (sign-in links, receipts).
b) Information collected automatically
- Account activity — we log when audits are run and purchases are made, associated with your account. This is used to enforce your audit credit balance.
- Standard server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, and page access times. We do not use these for tracking.
c) Files you upload
All files you upload (agency invoices, Google Ads reports) are processed entirely within your browser. Your files are never transmitted to our servers, never stored, and never seen by us. File processing happens locally on your device using client-side JavaScript.
d) Google Drive data (if used)
If you choose to connect Google Drive to import files, we request read-only access limited to files you explicitly select. We do not access, store, or transmit any Google Drive data. Selected files are processed locally in your browser, identical to manually uploaded files. We do not retain your Google OAuth tokens beyond your active session.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your account

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising or share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Unspun:
- Supabase — authentication and database. Stores your email address and account data. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your payment card details; they are handled entirely by Stripe. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions. Vercel Privacy Policy
- Google — optional Google Drive file picker. Only used if you explicitly choose to connect Drive. Google Privacy Policy
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data (email address, audit log, purchase history) for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law or for fraud prevention.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access to the personal data we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your account and associated data
- Objection to or restriction of certain processing
- Data portability

7. Children's Privacy
